CAMP (Code Applications and Maintenance Program) is the largest research program conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) since 1993. In the context of the CAMP research program is development and change of experience on system codes RELAP5 and TRACE, a neutron program PARCS, and graphical interface SNAP. In the CAMP program, based on an agreement with the U.S. NRC, are currently involved over 40 organizations from 28 countries. Coordinator in Slovenia is the Jožef Stefan Institut (JSI) (also Nuclear Power Plant Krško and the Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration are cooperating).

CAMP autumn meeting was divided into two parts, a technical and programming one. In the technical part firstly U.S. NRC presented the status of the development of U.S. NRC software TRACE, RELAP5, PARCS and SNAP, which was followed by reports of five member states of CAMP (Canada, Mexico, Slovenia, Sweden and Poland). JSI presented the paper: "Status of CAMP Activities in Canada" by Andrej Prošek.

A total of 12 technical reports, related to the use of computer programs TRACE and PARCS were presented. Within the framework of the programming part of the CAMP meeting we discussed the need for further development of system codes for simulation of nuclear devices and proposals of contributions in kind, which are required for all participants in the CAMP (for Slovenia one contribution per year). For 2017 JSI has proposed a contribution in kind titled "10% Hot Leg Break LOCA Experiment on LSTF calculated by RELAP5 and TRACE", which has been approved by a technical program committee.

This year's autumn meeting of CAMP, which took place on 2-4.11.2016 at the headquarters of the U.S. NRC (Three White Flint North Facility), North Bethesda, Maryland, USA, was organized by the U.S. NRC. The meeting was attended by nearly 50 representatives from 15 countries, of which one remotely and 18 from the host country. From JSI Reactor Engineering Division dr. Andrej Prošek attended the meeting.
