The ANNETTE project (Advanced Networking for Nuclear Education and Training and Transfer of Expertise) is aimed at promoting the coordinated cooperation of all the nuclear stakeholders in the planning and implementation of education and training. The project, which has 24 partners, is funded by the European Commission under auspices of Horizon 2020 (EURATOM Fission).

The first meeting was devoted to planning and final division of labor between the partners. The role of Jo┼żef Stefan Institute employees in the project is to coordinate cooperation with technology platforms and other professional associations in Europe, but also beyond its borders.

The meeting, which was organized at the University of Pisa by the Interuniversity Consortium for Technological Nuclear Research (CIRTEN), was attended by Prof. Leon Cizelj, head of the Reactor Engineering Department.
